Solar energy – History of Solar Energy

Solar energy history can be traced back to hundreds of years back. A study of a French mathematician carried out hundred of years ago seen as the beginning of the solar energy history. The study has encouraged other scientists. More and more solar power companies have been set up to continue to experiment and develop the use of solar energy in both industrial and residential fields. One important development was a remarkably efficient solar boiler invented by Charles Greenley Abbott, an American astrophysicist in 1936.
For many years scientists have been learning newer and better methods that we are able to use solar power in our daily lives. The effort of scientists and solar power companies did not make solar energy popular among the public at that time. But most people started to be aware of the importance of solar energy when they discovered the serious problems of the shortage of current sources of energy. The threats alter people to think about the potential of employing solar energy.
